As we turn the calendar to traditionally spring months, we have to admit that this year has been one of the milder winters that we have had to endure. Our picture this month is of a much snowier time in the early 1950’s, just after downtown Apple Creek got dumped on. Some one really worked hard to shovel the sidewalk in front of the grocery store, well before the snow plow had cleared the street. Lebold’s garage can be seen on the opposite side of the road while a restaurant and a barber shop can be seen on this side. We say once again a big thank you to Buddy Lebold for this wonderful picture.
