The Tasker and Walter’s family had a “get together” in Apple Creek in what I believe is the early 1920’s where they took several family pictures. Fortunately for us, we not only get to see the family members, but we also get to see different views of the town in the background. Here, members of the family pose by the railroad tracks with the harness shop owned by H.M. Meier sitting where the current Apple Creek drive thru is located. A taller building can be seen behind it which was probably or will be the gasoline station. I especially enjoy the bow tie and spiffy hat that the taller gentleman is wearing.
